Here’s a little look into some of the balance work that we’ve been doing since the last patch. Our main balance focus right now is on the Persians. They’re particularly strong against Egypt. So, we’re investigating just how we might tweak Age2 compositions to make things fairer.

We’re also looking at a couple of other issues. As promised in the balance changes notes from the last patch, we’re going to make fishing a little riskier, so there’s more of a decision about whether or not to fish on water maps. We’re also looking at ways to reduce the effectiveness of big balls of archers, which we feel over-perform and are just not as fun to play against. And, for all of you Egypt lovers, expect a buff to the Priestess of Ptah!
